Trang and Elvis were referred to me by my dear friend Julie (the sweetest person and the most talented designer ever). So I knew that they would be just as awesome as Julie... after all, Elvis is her big brother :)
Their wedding celebration took place in one of Toronto's prestigious neighbourhoods: Yorkville. With tree-lined streets, cobblestone sidewalks, and luxury boutiques on every corner, it made for a great wedding location.
I started my morning with the boys getting ready at the Four Seasons Hotel. It did get a little rowdy with them when they downing some champagne but that was all part of the fun! Trang got ready at the One Eighty, just 51 stories up in the Manulife Centre. My favourite moment for Trang was when her mom helped her get into her beautiful dress.
Trang and Elvis' first look and portraits took place on the streets of Yorkville. They both looked so gorgeous. Shortly after, they had a tea ceremony and a Western ceremony at the One Eighty. I was very touched when both Elvis and Trang had tears for their vow reading - you can tell their love was the real deal. I almost cried!
They had a cocktail hour in the dining area and balcony of the One Eighty where guests enjoyed Toronto's beautiful skyline while sipping on signature drinks and some delicious hors d'oeuvres. Their intimate cocktail reception had some emotional speeches, yummy foods, and lots of dancing.
All in all, Trang and Elvis' contemporary wedding in Yorkville was a dream to photograph. Their love started in Vancouver (where they met), and strengthened in Toronto. There was just so much love and emotions on this day.
